Call for applications: Pacific Connect ‘Technology Enabling Inclusiveness’ Dialogue
Pacific Connect is looking for ambitious, accomplished and forward-thinking people to join its Pacific Connect Network Dialogue on 29-30 July 2019 in Suva. Over two days, current and emerging leaders from across Australia and the Pacific will come together to explore how new technologies and enhanced digital connectivity can improve social inclusion in the Pacific.
A wide range of assistive technology can help people perform tasks they would otherwise be unable to do, helping them play a full roll in society. Employers can apply new technologies to broaden employment opportunities for all members of society. Potential discussion topics at the Dialogue could include:
- An annual ‘inclusiveness forum’
- Innovations in local manufacturing
- Entrepreneurs and assistive technology
Through facilitated, outcomes-based discussions, participants will identify and select projects to take forward and develop.
Through this Network Dialogue, you will gain access to the Pacific Connect Community. The Community provides a valuable platform for its members to continue collaborations and generate projects and activities to enhance and increase the network, learn from each other and potentially create new business opportunities. The Community is an avenue for individuals to amplify their voice and impact by working together.
Interested? You can help set the region’s digital agenda and improve social inclusion through Pacific Connect. Please forward your CV and a brief overview of your relevant achievements to pacific_dialogue@icdp.com.au. Enquiries: +61 409 810 190
