Pacific Connect Community Micro-Investment Programme launched

This week, ICDP has launched an exciting new initiative to help support Pacific Connect Community projects – the Pacific Connect Community Micro Investment Programme.

The aim of the programme is to assist with maximising the potential and maintaining the momentum of Community led projects by offering a one-off small investment. The funding supports the Pacific Connect programme’s objective of building and strengthening relationships between the Pacific and Australia.

It is designed to provide small seed funding to help with project activities for example: research, app development, marketing & promotion, training & development.

Who can apply?

Members of the Pacific Connect Community can apply. Membership is obtained through attendance at a Pacific Connect Dialogue in Australia or in one of the six countries covered by the Pacific Connect programme – Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Samoa, Tonga and Vanuatu. How can you apply?

Project leaders or project teams can provide a short proposal using the application template, detailing activities and associated funding requirements.

When can you apply?

The micro investments will be available throughout the year or until the total funding allocation has been committed. You may apply at any time as there are no closing dates for submission.
