Registrations open for AR/VR PNG Workshop

AR/VR Workshop – Port Moresby

DP Immersive in partnership with Jeune Creative and Pacific Connect is seeking to bring creative mindsets in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea for its first AR/VR Workshop in February. Registration is open now to take the first ten (10) participants for this compelling augmented and virtual reality session that will roll out between February and March 2022.

Overview

Augmented and Virtual Reality applications have been envisioned for decades. With the commoditization of these technologies, through the development of devices such as Occulus and Microsoft Hololens, Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) has swarmed the world.

This brings to creative industries, architecture, engineering, sciences and business is permittable given the current technological world we live in. The ideas about the future are already mind blowing and designers, engineers and scientists have immersed themselves in this technology.

Workshop aim

This workshop aims to bring together creative mindsets to access a first-hand basic training in how to support the development of a sustainable AR/VR creative industry in a new digital environment.

Who can join?

We welcome anyone who has an interest in learning the skills for AR/VR and would like to pursue this in future as a career or just as a hobby.

Our participants are encouraged to come as a free thinker and willing to share ideas and grow together in a learning environment.
