PNG the focus for second Side Hustle Dialogue
Overwhelming interest for last December’s ‘Women in Business Dialogue, has meant an ‘encore’ is set to go ahead this Wednesday for PNG-based entrepreneurs. The Dialogue will bring together participants in our Port Moresby and Lad Community Hubs. We are again delighted to have our local Community Leaders Julliane Terry (Lae) and Nicole Jeune (Port Moresby) coordinating the dialogue and lunchtime networking sessions.
Dialogue participants will gain tips on how to establish or grow their own economically sustainable ventures, whilst also benefiting from a safe and welcoming environment in which they can expand personal networks and find collaboration opportunities on personal projects or business ventures. Long-time Community member and Samoa Hub Coordinator, Olisana Mariner will co-facilitate our first Dialogue for 2021 along with Simone Pensko, Chief Executive of ICDP.
Our speakers, Ginia Sialis and Zha Agabe-Granfar have both used a mix of determination and persistence to turn their side hustle into a sustainable business success story. The two Port-Moresby locals return to the Side Hustle Dialogue to share more tips and engage in a locally focused talanoa with emerging leaders across government, industry, community, and academia groups. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in an interactive Q&A with the speakers, and share their side hustle stories and aspirations.
At the first Side Hustle Dialogue, we heard from inspiring entrepreneurs like Kenny Lawrence – and we’re sure that on Wednesday we’ll learn from another group of inspiring change makers in PNG. If you can’t make the morning’s proceedings, we’ll be keeping you up-to-date on our social channels and our Pacific ‘Women in Business’ network.
