PACIFIC CONNECT
Pacific Connect is a growing program successfully contributing to the economic development of six Pacific Island countries. Since the program’s launch in 2017, ICDP’s approach has strengthened the roles and opportunities of Pacific Island women and opened new investment and business opportunities for Australian small business.
What our Community has to say:
"I believe Pacific Connect allows us to collaborate with like-minded emerging leaders, this is the answer to many challenges encountered by Pacific Islands countries over time, especially in terms of strengthening ‘Australia-Pacific Connections for a Digital Future’ through collaboration on projects and ongoing network activities". - Solomon Islands Dialogue participant "The dialogue brought together mighty women from all over the Pacific for three days of meaningful connection, brilliant minds, open-heartedness, and the exchange of transformative ideas". - PNG member "Pacific Connect helps build and sustain a bridge between like-minded innovative individuals in the Pacific and Australia to help promote cohesiveness, sustainable practices and a better tomorrow". - Australian participant "I felt I had something in common with every single person in that room. A mark of a really good workshop is if it ends up I‘m across people and don’t want to walk away, and that was exactly the case with Pacific Connect events - people were still having conversations about their ideas and finding ways to collaborate". - Brisbane ‘Side Hustle’ Dialogue female participant. "In recent times with Covid-19 and TC Harold, this is the best mode of interaction and development moving forward". - Vanuatu participant "The program connects forward-thinking people to develop ideas and address regional challenges". - Australian Community member
