MONEY SMART, BUSINESS STRONG
On 29 September, ICDP will host the second online Financial Literacy Dialogue/talanoa featuring guest speaker Betsy Westcott – a renowned business finance coach and economic commentator – and co-facilitated by Goroka Hub Coordinator Georgina Benson and ICDP Director Catherine Fritz-Kalish AM.
Running a business takes more than a great idea. It requires confidence and clarity with money. This workshop will help you better understand your finances so you can make informed decisions, improve profitability, and build a business that supports your life.
Together, we will focus on simple, practical foundations you can start using straight away. You will learn how to track your money, price your products and services for profit, and manage your cash flow with confidence. We will also explore how to balance business income with personal and family responsibilities, and look at different ways to fund and grow your business over time.
