Next phase for Trade Finance Vehicle 2.0
In late March – early April, we convened the last round of cross-Pacific dialogues for Red Hat Impact’s Trade Finance Vehicle 2.0 project, one of our most significant collaborations to date. TFV 2.0 is designed to help Pacific women entrepreneurs reduce their costs around production, trade, financing and logistics. A draft model for how it would operate, who would be eligible, what inventory and equipment would be financed, and other details were presented by Cameron Neil (Red Hat Impact) and research partner Supivaa.
Over 140 ICDP Community members joined the events through nine Pacific Hubs to provide feedback on the proposed model. We look forward to the next update from Red Hat Impact and an opportunity to contribute to the implementation phase.
